The aim of the daily English courses in Elma is to teach children the existence of other languages and cultures in the world, and help them understand the importance of language as a tool of communication. Children learn to understand basic instructions, and know numbers, colors, animals and objects included in the learning themes.

The English program: The English Program in ELMA is conducted with a native English speaking kindergarten teacher. The program is parallel to our main education program and its objectives. It is supported with sensory play, GEMS, and play-based learning activities through drama, games, art practices, songs, stories and finger plays.

Students who graduate from the English Program can express themselves in English and have an age appropriate vocabulary. They can easily continue to an intensive English teaching primary school.
